The Skoda Karoq crossover, which got on the conveyor in Russia at the end of last year and appeared at dealers on February 14, is now available not only with front-wheel drive, but also with all-wheel drive. We are talking about the same three trim levels: Active (1 468 000 rubles), Ambition (1 580 000 rubles) and Style (1 754 000 rubles). They are more expensive than similar front-wheel drive assemblies by 81,000 rubles. Karoq 4×4 is equipped with the same 1.4-liter turbo four for 150 hp, but it is combined not with an 8-band automatic, but with a 6-speed robotic transmission.

In addition, all-wheel drive crossovers have a 4 mm increase in clearance, and 18-inch alloy wheels and the Auto Hold function are added to the list of options. The dynamics, of course, suffered a little: compared with the front-wheel drive modification, the acceleration time to 100 km / h increased from 8.8 to 8.9 seconds, and the maximum speed decreased from 199 to 193 km / h. The next update in the Karoq family will be a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine with 110 hp. He will work with both a 5-speed manual and a 6-band automatic.
