Renault introduced a three-year cost-cutting program. With her help, she hopes to reduce fixed spending by more than 2 billion euros.

Approximately 650 billion euros will be given by production optimization. The annual volume of automobile production will be reduced from 4 to 3.3 million units. At the same time, production capacities in Russia will be adapted, the expansion of sites in Romania and Morocco will be frozen, the activities of French enterprises will be reviewed. As a result, about 15 thousand people will remain without work, of which 4.6 thousand in France.

Marketing expenses will be reduced by 700 million euros, and cooperation with Nissan and Mitsubishi will provide an additional 800 million savings: companies will unify their model lines so that in each region there is a main model of one of the brands and its analogues under other brands.
