Peugeot presents new pick-up

The Peugeot pick-up Landtrek will start in various markets in Latin America and Africa at the end of 2020, but not in Europe. In particular, the higher-quality equipment appeals with the consistent implementation of the current brand design and an interior that is reminiscent of the French car models. Few customers will be bothered by the fact that the unusual i-Cockpit is not used. Peugeot promises driving comfort at the level of the mid-range model 508 for the pick-up available with single and double cab.

From this, the Landtrek also inherits the 10.0-inch touchscreen that sits enthroned on the dashboard. However, the information on the drive technology is likely to be much more important: the French pick-up is available with either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive. The 4×4 version is equipped with a reduction gear, that additionally increases the off-road capability.

Peugeot offers the Landtrek with two engines: the 210 hp 2.4-liter petrol engine is available with either six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. The automatic option does not apply to the 1.9-liter diesel, which produces 150 hp. Depending on the version, the trailer load of the Peugeot Landtrek (2020) is up to 3.5 tons and the payload of the platform is a maximum of 1.2 tons.
