According to the company’s official press release, the work of a woman named Eleanor was selected by Bentley’s director of design Stefan Zilaf. In total, they plan to release 12 “rainbow” roadsters worth $ 1.84 million each. All cars already have owners.

Rainbow Bentley winner made up of seven branded shades of the brand:

red Dragon Red II,
orange Orange Flame,
yellow Yellow Flame,
green Apple Green,
blue Jetstream II,
blue Sequin Blue,
purple Azure Purple.

Each of them has its own story. The color Dragon Red II was used for the 2012 Continental GT and the new Bentayga. The Bacalar roadster was painted in Yellow Flame during its debut. Shades of Sequin Blue and Azure Purple were created to order. The first was designed for the customer’s favorite ball gown, the second had to match the color of the African violet.

Bentley Mulliner Bacalar is equipped with a 6.0-liter W12 with twin turbocharging, developing 650 hp. and 900 Nm of torque. From standstill to 100 km / h the roadster accelerates in 3.5 seconds. Top speed – over 320 km / h.

This unique multicolored Bacalar is reminiscent of the 2016 Bentley Continental GT V8 S Convertible, adorned by British artist Peter Blake. The car was prepared in a single copy to be sold at auction and send the proceeds to charity.
