Toyota introduced in the United States a new crossover under the familiar name Venza. This is an analogue of the Japanese Harrier, which will continue to be sold in other markets. Like many other Toyota innovations, Venza is built on the global TNGA architecture. It is noteworthy that the model is available only with a hybrid drive: the power plant, consisting of a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine and three electric motors, develops a total of 222 hp.

In this case, up to 80% of traction can be transmitted to the rear wheels. Such a crossover cannot charge from the network, but an “intelligent” recovery system is provided. The equipment may include: a panoramic roof with electrochromic glass, a 12.3-inch touchscreen multimedia system, a 10-inch projection display, powerful JBL acoustics, climate control.  So far, nothing has been reported on the prospects for Venza to appear on the Russian market, but this option is not excluded.
