The formally updated Skoda Rapid made its debut in Russia back in December, but because of all this history with corona virus, dealers only got cars after the May holidays. And now they have suddenly fallen in price – also because of COVID-19.

“In a difficult period of a pandemic,” the local office launched the Start Edition program, which offers special prices for both bundling and option packages.

So, Active and Ambition complete sets with all available engines and gearboxes fell by 25 thousand rubles. The Style package with a 110-horsepower engine is now estimated at 1,075,000 rubles, regardless of whether the unit is combined with a five-speed manual or a six-band automatic transmission, although earlier it was necessary to pay 50,000 rubles for the machine.

In addition, the package of options for picking Ambition, including a two-spoke leather steering wheel, front center armrest, Maxi Dot display and rear parking sensors, fell from 27,800 to 13,600 rubles. A set of a passenger seat with height adjustment, alarm and front parking sensors for the Style has also become more affordable: instead of 20,600 rubles, they ask for 16,300.
At the same time, the minimum Entry grade is estimated, as before, at 792,000 rubles. This lift-back is available exclusively with a 90-horsepower engine and manual transmission.
