In the United States, the fourth-generation Toyota Highlander debuted a little over a year ago, but in Russia the novelty will appear only this summer. Anticipating the start of sales, the local office of the manufacturer specified some details. Like the overseas counterpart, the “Russian” Highlander was converted to TNGA architecture and equipped with a Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD all-wheel drive system with two electromagnetic clutches for distributing traction between the rear wheels. There is also a Multi Terrain Select driving mode selection system

Salon, apparently, will only be seven-seater, although for America there is an eight-seater option. Depending on the level of equipment, the equipment will include LED headlights and taillights, a panoramic electric roof, an infotainment complex with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a projection display, JBL speakers for 11 speakers, a package of winter options and Toyota Safety security systems Sense in version 2.0.The Highlander will retain the familiar V6 aspirated, most likely it will again be 249-horsepower.
